Anytime Apple Crumble

Perfect for any season — why wait for fall?

Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 stick cold butter (cubed)
¼ cup cinnamon honey
(or ¼ cup regular honey + 1 tbsp cinnamon)
2 tbsp sugar
2 large apples (cored and sliced)
1 tsp nutmeg
Optional: a handful of caramel chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the apples: core and slice them, then set aside in a bowl. Its up to you if you want to keep the skin on the apple on.
Make the crumble:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cold butter cubes, honey, sugar, and nutmeg.
Mix with your hands or a pastry cutter until well blended — it should form a thick, crumbly dough.

Assemble:
In a loaf pan (or small baking dish), layer the crumble mixture and apples.
Alternate or mix them together — whichever you prefer for that perfect bite of both!
Drizzle a little extra honey on top.

Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream.
